Bielefelder Question

I have a 10 mo. old Bielefelder who did not start to lay until 32 weeks. They say that this breed is supposed to lay up to 70g large brown eggs. She has yet to lay anything past 50g. They are the smallest of all my chickens except my Spitzhauben.
My Barred Rocks lay larger eggs...heck my tiny 55 Flowery Hen lays a 60g every day.

Is she just getting warmed up? Is there an issue?? She is bottom of the pecking order but the largest bird I have. Is she getting enough nutrition???Just wondering from those who have them.

They start out smaller but if its a purebred then they should definitely get bigger. It took mine another 3 or so months to get to full size after they started laying.

Can take months for eggs from a particular layer to get to full size.

Depends on the bird... several of my older layers go straight to full size after break, others do seem to have a bit of ramp up time.
