Bielefelder thread!!!!

I wish that they could get that fire out up there soon to start giving people some relief from it.

What I've heard on the news is that there are hundreds (!) of fires burning across Canada. And that they could burn all summer.

Much as the smoke is horrid here, it's worse other places. And I have to remember, there are probably people who have lost their homes. I have nothing to complain about.

1, 2, 3, 4million, 4million and 1...

I think that all of the dead under brush under the forest tree's are what fuels those fires. Yes, I wouldn't doubt that the people that lived near to those forests have lost thier homes. Once the fires are out the flooding will come with the rain.

Do you have a whole body pic? And one of the chest area? It doesn’t look horribly rooish to me.

There are tiny little bits of flesh that will become wattles, but I don't have a clear picture.

I am still hopeful, but am preparing myself for her being a him. I have a couple people I would ask about taking him. A third already laughed and said no.

I'm on my phone right now, and the picture of what the baby Bielefelder's backs look like are on my computer. I'll post it later so that you can compare them with the picture's of your's when you first got them as soon as my husband gets done with his time on the computer.

Reasons I think Pip is a pullet:
Mt Healthy says the extra will be the same gender/breed as what you ordered. (Biel pullet) She certainly looked like the other three. This is the 4 together, at a few days old.

Someone said she had skinny, girly legs, and they aren't any chunkier than the other three. They still aren't noticeably chunkier.

Reasons I fear Pip is a cockerel:
Comb size.
Tidbitting behavior recently.

Reasons I am on the fence:
I can't do anything about it!

They all look female to me. Maybe she's just going to be a faster developing and the dominate girl in your bunch. My husband is still online on the compter.
