Oh, and to answer your question, yes he knows we will be eating his, "buddy!" lol I do miss having them around...place feels a little empty. DH is happy to have them gone as they ate like mad and their poop.....

lol We did save one special BB hen who is super petite--unless we see signs of distress(legs bowing, etc) she gets a special Pardon. She's obsessed with our family--literally comes over and plops in our laps to be petted...my DS named her, "Coconut!"

She lay pretty light brown speckled eggs.

how did you wrap it? my cousin brought one over for us its not as big as yours only 27 lbs. I'm saving it for yule/christmas celebration and I just stuck it in a huge ziplock bag but I couldn't get all the air out.And I'm afraid it will get freezer burn.
