Big Hole in Egg - Not Emergency

I’m not sure if this should go here…
but if you have an egg with this bad of a hole, is there anything that can be done to save it?

This duckling has already passed, but I have encountered this before and most likely will again.

Also, what caused the hole, do you think?

It looks like another duck caused the hole. I'm assuming one of your ducks was trying to hatch it? Are they separate from the rest of the flock?
