hello all! i am brand new to the BYC community and look forward to connecting with as many chicken and egg enthusiast as possible. i have a big plan to start up a local egg business here in my community, i know i have a lot ahead of me but I'm ready for it. we as a community here in northern California lost our beloved egg farmer at our farmers market, sense then only a few local vendors have been bringing some of there eggs to help out. i hope to get things back up and running for my community and friends and family. I'm still in the research stage of the whole thing but its looking very promising! I'm going to start meeting with a few land owners here in another day or two to talk about leasing a corner of property as i only have a small backyard within city limits. I'm sure the neighbors would not appreciate the large amount of chickens i aspire to have, also i want the ladies to have their space. thanks for reading and any input on my future endeavor from seasoned professionals is greatly appreciated. have a great day.
