If it's dried up, you can trim it down alittle. The rest will fall off on it's own.

The yolk will absorb overnight, if not all the way, it'll dry up, & fall off.

Yes, the yellow thing, has to be absorbed into the chick. That's the yolk.

Okay if it's gone that's good it absorbed quickly.

If you can take a quick picture for me to see what you're seeing that'll help?
