Hi my incubator when I go to hatch eggs I just put water In the bottom in water tray I don't have a hydrometer is it important cause my
eggs wont hatch.

Yes, a hygrometer is very important. Or, at least knowing your humidity is. You can also monitor the humidity by either weighing the eggs once a week (they should loose 15% of their total mass) or measure the size of the air cells (too big=too dry, too small=too wet, they are charts on this site that show air cell progression). The hygrometer just makes things a little more convenient.

If the humidity is too high during incubation, the air cells will be small, the chicks large and they can't move to pip and they drown. If its too high during hatch time, the moisture collects in the air cell and they pip into it and drown. If you open the eggs to check them, you might notice they seem very wet inside if the humidity is too high. Obviously there are also problems if its too dry, so you need to figure out some way to know if you're in the acceptable range.

Well first how much natural humidity do you have as every clement is different
and this changes your hatch tech-neck

Wal-Mart has some for around $ 15. Dollars and you really need one

When adding water your temp will drop so use warm water always

You can do a dry-hatch if you have the humidity in the are but if you are
just starting out this is not a smart move so I would recommend you look
at BYC's learning center to get some technical knowledge

look up the hatching Forum to check it out
