Big red what is He/She?

Is Big Red a he? or she? I'm trying to educate myself, I'm thinking she, smaller comb, no spurs, no hackle feathers, haven't caught her/him crowing. Also I can't remember where this one came from, could be a mutt from my girls but I don't think so. Any idea what breed?

Do you know what age? The tail feathers, the saddle feathers, and the posture makes it look like a rooster to me.

And I can see the saddle/hackle feathers very clearly in this picture. See those dark shiny feathers around the tail and neck? Yep.. Total roo.

Thanks everyone, "her" being a roo actually makes it easier to decide what to do with him. I have been stalking an egg eater for the last couple of weeks and I caught this one red-handed pecking open an egg.
