I just officially joined BYC but have been researching on this site ever since we bought 20 baby chicks in February, 2015.. We have Plymouth Barred Rocks, Golden Buffs, Australorps, Easter Eggers and Plymouth Rocks. I am just dying to get some Orphingtons and Wyandotes and Brahma chickens. I liked the chickens so much I bought 3 baby ducks (pekins I lost 2 of these to a bobcat). Now I have 5 ducks of various ages and types. I am learning new things about them every day. Our chickens actually showed the ducks the lay of the land and where the foraging is the best. I am looking forward to sharing duck tales and any information I may have on raising chickens or ducks with the rest of the BYC community.

I'm sure it won't be long. I am getting drainage installed next week in the duck enclosure for the pool and tubs. I will see if I can figure out how to post pics for anyone else who might need drainage ideas for their duck water features. Up until now it has just been going on the ground but it doesn't smell too good in there so it's time to clean it up and do it right.
