Hello I butchered 23 bird that where 8 weeks old they averaged 4.5 lb. the biggest was 5.5lb. Just wondering what other people had. Thanks for looking

24 last week, ranged from 4.5 to 6.75 pounds. Most of my roosters were 6 and over. Butchered the day before turning 8 weeks.

50 Cornish crosses at 8 weeks to the day. Avg.6.4 lbs but there were three monsters one 7.73, 8.12, and 8.40 lbs.

My cornish x's are still growing but I ordered from Meyer hatchery here in Ohio. It's not very far from me and they seem to have very nice chicks in all breeds.

I've had several of them hit 7+ pounds in 8 weeks in Fall batches, but never in Spring/Summer batches. They seem to eat a lot more when the weather is cooler. Makes sense, I tend to eat less when it's hot.

I got my birds from Quality Supply. not sure where they getthem from. Help a friend butcher on Sat. his birds were 5.5 lb average. w on bird at 7.25 lb. it looked like a small turkey.

our biggest out of 23 was 5.5 lbs in 7 weeks, our smallest (by comparison) was little over 3.
