159?

I'm excited for you, but you probably won't find anyone here that would think you are crazy. I think its exciting and I hope every one of them produces a beautiful chick for you!
GOOD LUCK!!

My guess is 208 viable at 6 days!

Hi! Well, only 5 days into this 'big set' and already lost 4 eggs --- they were just gone from under the hens. I figure they got broke and the hens ate the evidence.
Had an 'OH SHOOT!' moment yesterday.
It was Day 18 for the bunch set the 29th --- some were in an LG I'd been hand-turning and some were in the LG w/turner . Yikes, I didn't have an open incubator to move the bunch in the LG w/ turner AND I don't everever take the turner out of that LG (it's the one that has been kicking since '05) and I'd have to adjust temps, etc.
SO, I moved the 4 doz (-4) set the 12th under hens BACK inside to the LG w/ turner and gave those Day 18 eggs from the LG w/ turner to those hens to finish.
Whew, that problem solved.
I'll for sure appreciate the help counting when it's that time again.
When I take them all out to candle, I'll rearrange by breed, cross, etc. and get a count of how many of whatever. I like seeing them all lined up nice and neat in the incubator --- even if only for a little while.

Hi! Just candled the 4 doz (-4) bantam eggs that started under hens and got brought in to the LG w/ turner.

3 Serama ................................................. 3 growing
5 brown Mottled Cochin ............................. 2 growing
2 silkie feathered green-egger .................... 2 growing
14 blue / splash Silkie .............................. 13 growing
13 white Silkie ......................................... 12 growing
11 Modern Game (only 7 left to candle) ....... 1 growing

48 set ...................................................... 33 growing
The MG's and Mottled Cochins don't surprise me. Fertility has been low.
I'm annoyed the hens broke the other 4 MG eggs --- they might've been the fertile ones.

6 Naked Neck bant green-egger................. 6 growing

Especially happy with that bunch --- yaay no clears!

Set:
5 silkie feathered green-eggers.................. 5 growing
35 cuckoo/ blue cuckoo green-eggers........ 33 growing
36 black Ameraucana (4A).........................31 growing
46 bluexblue Am' (2A) ............................. 32 growing
17 bluexblue Am' (1A)...............................9 growing
Of the 29 of those clears, 22 were 11-day-old or older eggs. Bah, sometimes 'older eggs' grow and sometimes they don't.

Split them back up between #2 and #3:
LG still air #2 (44?)

LG still air #3 (66?)

That accounts for all the eggs, I think!

206 growing on Day 6. Anybody close?

Hi! Day 15 candling showed 165 live embryos (won't have time to candle them all on Day 18).
Heard a zzzt, zzzt as I was turning for the last time one night and should have known --- the heating element in one of the incubators was going out. Most of the losses were from there. Must have gottten crazy-hot in spots as the element was going out. Then they sat cooling til morning when I went to turn again... I've got those survivors marked and will handle them different on Day 18 (not sure how yet).
It's always something.
