He's 50. I'm 45. We make certain allowances for our ages. Besides which, technically I am not suppose to be on a bike, or a horse, or anything that could cause me to take a hard fall on my back. I have 2 intravertebral hemangiomas on my spine. One good hit and it's lights out!

I refuse to live in a bubble, but I don't tempt fate too much either.

ouch, that sucks...my gf messed up her back, (pinched nerve or bulging disk) last yr and she was in so much pain at one point she was crawling to the bathroom.

this rigid chopper should do wonders for my back LOL

We stayed at my Dad's house and rode 6 hours to Daytona. After 4 hours we stopped in Melbourne for gas. He told me to hop off and my back said "don't even think about it!". It was great though!

i feel for ya quad,
a buddy of mine has an ole hardtail. i've taken it out a couple of times, wasn't quite sure where they got jarred out but i know i lost my kidneys somewhere along the way. it may be rigid but i'm sure you'll have a blast on that chop. it's a trade off, you give up a little comfort, but just think how cool you'll look tooling around on a freshly finished chopper.....
cheers
