BIN 10+ white silkie hatching eggs, ships 6/29/2015week: great Bloodlines, located Georgia

Just got my silkie eggs from the May 6th shipment in the mail today! I sent a message out asking about shipping details this morning from my phone, while at work. But when I got home, there the eggs were! I knew it would be fast because we're both in the same state in the same metro area. But I didn't expect them to arrive before the tracking number was sent via private message! lol!

All shells are in tact, and all yolks appear to be in-tact as well - although two of them are still (stay in place against the egg shell). They should hatch just fine though, as long as they are fertile. I'll send more updates on days 7 and 14 of incubation, and on hatch day!

Praying for a great hatch for you LTygress. Thanks for the report. Now eggs are available again!

Please pm me if you are interested in some. If you are new and don't have many messages available, feel free to e mail at [email protected] but please let me know your byc name! Thanks and have a blessed day!

Just candled the incubator eggs that I received last week. The other half are under a broody hen, and she still hasn't moved, so I'm not going to disturb her and candle those right now. Maybe later this weekend.

But for the eggs in the incubator, there looks to be GREAT blood vessel development going on with most of them, and a few small patches of thicker cell growth here and there. Only two appeared to be completely unfertilized. One developing egg looks like it sat still for a while (super-dark spot right against the egg shell) but seems to be growing lots of blood vessels anyway. I'll see what it brings me when I re-candle at 14 days!

Happy and blessed hatching!

My first two eggs have hatched (a day early) under my broody hen, with another zipping the egg right now. No pips yet from the ones in the incubator. I do have a black or blue polish frizzle making lots of noise in there though (and due to hatch today) so I know conditions are good.

Jime we were delighted to ship you these and our Delaware eggs. Glad they arrived safely there and look forward to knowing how they will be developing. Do keep us posted please! Whenever anyone would be interested in a white only silkie listing, please do let us know with a message. Our largest grouping of silkies presently is whites, but of course, with silkies, you never never know when they will go broody, but That's what I love about silkies among many other things! :)
