maybe what I thought was my game banty's aren't game? I got them from the same farmers and that's just what they told me? Of course they also told me that my blue cochin was bantam and clearly isn't and that the americauna they gave us was also bantam and a hen and it was neither so I guess I can't really trust what they said! lol!

Daddy and the black hen have rose combs, but do not appear to be games. Tail is wrong on Daddy to be a wyandotte. Becker is silver laced, not mottled. I tried to find photos of laced chicks to compare with yours, and cannot find any

and I have no experience with laced chicks.

hmm. wonder what they are! lol! They told me that and they look very similar to my OEG banty's I had in their build so I assumed they were. She is a super sweet little gal. He was sweet until he turned a year and half and then got real feisty and kept turning on my 10yr old so we had to get rid of him. He was beautiful though. They have black feet. (not sure if that helps w/ anything.)

you sure they aren't game? I know you said games don't have rosecomb but I just looked at the game forum and there were several that did. A few that looked a lot like mine??? Just curious.

Not sure where the color came from but if that chick is 6wo in the picture, the red comb says cockerel to me.

well we ended up w/ 3 boys out of the 4 that hatched! lol! This is an updated picture of the speckled baby we had no clue about and yes, he was a roo! lol!

as he got bigger he has teeny tiny feather pieces on a couple spots on his feet so I think it may have been the d'uccle that was the mama!

What you saw on the game forum was a rooster with a Dubbed comb (comb was cut off for showing) and not a rose comb.

At best I would say that the Black Rooster is a d'Anvers cross since your rooster lacks a beard.

No he didn't look anything like that.... I'm wondering if they are Black Rosecomb? The hen has white earlobes. the roo didn't but he looks an aweful lot like one down to the coloring and stance and feathers???

Thought maybe an austrolorp but there again the rosecomb didn't fit.
