I just got some of these a couple months ago and I’m so excited to have found this thread! I know it’s a few years old but maybe we could bring it back? I got mine from Ideal too and ended up with 1 cockerel and 4 pullets I think which I’m excited about. I only ordered 4 but got an extra. :D

One of the girls doesn’t appear to have any birchen pattern which sucks and one barely has any but the rest have a pretty good amount and the boy is very handsome so far. :love

I also have 4 Brabanters in with them and they get along well. :)

I lost my boy Clark! I’m so devistated.... he was my absolute favorite! His wife Vivian misses him too! She went broody 3 days after his passing, but being her first time, she messed up the timing. She only hatched out one egg. It was a poulet!
I know I’d have to buy straight run from a hatchery! So I’m looking to buy a cockerel from an individual! Clark was a real beauty! He was about 6-8 months old in these pics

I have two beautiful little silver birchen bantam cochins. I did have four but 2 became extremely aggressive for an unknown reason. The two that I still have are very sweet. I think they are show quality but I don't show my birds so I usually just breed for friendliness and color. I'll get pics of them when it gets light outside.
