BIRD BRAINS?

I have learned a lot about humans watching my flock. Chickens are not stupid. My hens know their name and people are always saying "no way". I wonder if chickens say that humans are stupid?

I've lived with chickens my intire life, so I can say with great confidence that chickens are smart and kind birds! And plus, what other pet gives you free food? Chickens won't disappoint you!

Social animals have to be 'smart' to be able to coexist as a (relatively) peaceful group who stay together and learn from each other.

I told a friend of mine that I am planning on getting chickens but am researching and preparing in advance before getting them. I have always loved chickens.. and dreamed of having them. She tried to gently tell me that "chickens are stupid" and have little bird brains. I disagree..I don't think they are stupid..they are capable of love don't you think?
