Bird Deterrent Rods??

Has anyone tried using these to deter flying predators around the chicken run?? I’m considering trying them? A bit prettier than the CDs…thanks!

I've always been a big fan of physical barriers. You can buy heavyweight poultry netting pretty inexpensively on Amazon or ebay, and it works great over a pen or run.

Yeah, my biggest concern with the poultry netting, is the trees inside the extended run are myrtle trees and really hard to easily wrap around with netting. They’re like really big shrubs so they have tons of branches coming from the base…so I’m not sure how to both easily secure it and make it look nice in our backyard. Sighhh chickening is hard
