Hello, I thought someone here might be able to help on this one. We live in a rural area in north Sn Diego, Ca. Owls, hawks, turkey vulchers are pretty common. Not sure what tis one is. I think maybe an owl? It's head looks like a hawk. It is up in the eucalyptus tree the hawks normally sit in. But the white chest is different. Sorry the camera can't get any closer.

Any ideas, gina

So this one was on my roof the other day. there were about 10 total circling the valley where I live. Hanging out over my neighbors orchard and my coops. I grabbed my cat and kids and took them all inside. gina

I hit one with my truck once. Cracked the windshield, rolled over the roof of the truck and kept on flying, it was huge.

The first pics are of a hawk, I'm not sure what kind.
