Bird of Prey Experts Needed

The first one has similar patterns and colors to that of a redtail....but, the angle of the pic hinders the identification because the wings and tail are the main differences between the Buteo....broad-winged hawks and the Accipiters....which are long-tailed hawks. There are several Accipiters that have very similar markings to the red-tail. The second pic may be a broad-winged hawk, but doesn't appear to be a red-tail and could be of the long-tails....again the angle of the pic does make it difficult because there isn't anything in either pic that gives any perspective to overall size. I will say that I by no means am an expert, but it is my honest opinion.

Pretty sure both are red tailed hawks . Like sour said the color variations are numerous just a couple more variations.

In looking at the 2nd pic, I don't believe it to be a red-tail, because the tail feathers aren't those of a red-tail. I think it could be a Cooper's and the colors seem to fit much better than a red-tail also.
