bigchicken2, you want a test kit to help make you future hatchery successful, but I will suggest another approach. The big hatcheries will be hard to compete with, so you should go after a niche market - Quality.

For example,many hatchery birds such as Cochins and Silkies leave a lot to be desired. The hatcheries breed for quantity. You should focus on quality. Start out with the best stock you can find and with enough drive and passion you will be a tremendous success.
