That sucks hawks fly over my coop all the time the chickens hide and the geese and ducks honk and hiss and my tom sometimes gobbles at them my turkey hen just doesn't care lol!

i havent per se, but yesterday some friends and i were up xc skiing in the mountains and we had stopped and were in a loose huddle eating snacks and someone dropped a crumb and a camp robber grey jay swooped down and grabbed it. I screamed because all of a sudden this bird came out of nowhere amongst us and it startled me. Plus during the ski I kept hearing nuthatches and everytime I heard one I'd yell out to my friends, "nuthatchitoon" and my friends just ignored me because they know I am odd and I am when it comes to birds. I love them.

I think it's great. I always pester my coworker about his ducks and we always talk bird.

Since we're on the topic of wild birds, do you know why California Quail are so chubby chunk fat and round? It drives me nuts. I wanna grab one and squeeze 'im.
