Your post jarred my fuzzy memory about Kestrels. Where did you get your Kestrel nest box plans at?
I bought some cedar about 20 years ago to build a few nest boxes but never got around to it. I just went out to the shed and checked, and I still have all that cedar so I might as well finish what I had planded on starting.
