"I'm sure, I heard him."

She sighed. "They hid him from me" she replied irritably.

"why?" she said with a smirk "they not trust you?!"

"Not quite, civilization was to the east when we can in, there has to be food there. Fly till we see it and land in the woods, walk in?"

"Sure! We should land about a half mile away; then we can walk out normal. Plus, humans are terribly unobservant in matters like this. They can't see that far, so I think we'll be safe."

"Good then!" Flower agreed, beating her wings as she turned and headed for town.

ray's two cents :

Stirring up a bluster of wind, Zeke ascended into the air, his wings casting a large shadow on the ground below him as he soared through the air. The faint sunlight glinted with an eerie glow on an object below, catching his eye. He slowed for moment, but saw nothing more and simply shrugged it off, flapping his wings to accelerate again.

(Ooh, spooky)

What is it?)
Keira saw a flash of light as she glided through the air, and, as Zeke wasn't flying all that fast, decided to drop down to the ground to investigate. Keira was a fast flyer, she could easily catch up later if she didn't stay on the ground for too long.

(It wouldn't be any fun if I just told you, now would it?

Zeke, assuming she was still following him, kept his eyes on the skies and advanced onward.

The dim luminescence seemed to be coming from what looked like the eyes of a predator, which watched her with an unblinking gaze. The eyes had an odd sense of expression to them, more so than any known animal, a fearful one; strangely, they were even humanly in shape. The tall, slender silhouette that possessed them stood unmoving, and still as a statue. The expression on it's countenance was unreadable in the shadows casted upon it from the old, gnarled trees that loomed above and seemingly into the heavens. The radiance faded as the eyes grew farther, and the figure wheeled around to flee into the labyrinth of dense foliage, the thumping of large feet following it.

(No, just kidding)

"It's not that they don't trust me, they don't trust me not to kill him" she muttered.

"sure, sure" she said "so where is someone that can tell me"

Sarah boredly walked through the park, her hands in her coat pockets. She wrapped it around herself tightly, shivering from the cold of the fall weather. "Hey," A male voice said from within the trees. Sarah looked towards the voice casaully, her hair oulled up into a messy pony-tail. "Hey," She replied.

"What-cha up to?" The voice said again, as the owner stepped out. A muscular, tall tanned guy with thick brown hair falling slightly into his face leaned up against a tree. He wore simple dark wash jeans, ripped on the knees, and a green and white Varsity jacket. He smiled warmly, making his inviting warm brown eyes twinkle. "Not much," Sarah sighed. "How abot you?" "Same," The male said.
