Birds eating dogs poop?!

Nope. No health issues, just another source of protein. They will eat their own poop as well. My dogs and chickens had a perfect symbiotic relationship....the dogs would eat the chicken's poop and the chickens would eat, scratch through and scatter my dog's poop. My yard was remarkably clean for having 30 chickens and two large dogs, three sheep and even a couple of cows.

Nature's way, folks.....let it be.

It's just really odd for me to be discovering/re-discovering chicken behaviors as an adult. These are my first chickens in over 20 years. There's much I didn't see (or maybe it's a recall thing) about their behavior when I was growing up.

I guess this will just keep me on my toes & keep me feeding my dog well!

i have noticed that the the birds have started eating my dogs poo too it has only started yesterday and a young thrush was there again to day before I got out to pick it up very strang any body know why this is happening now I have never known before in my life
