Good morning everyone! It's a cold, cloudy day. My little showgirl made it through the night so that's a relief! BUT, now I have a wheezy light brahma pullet. Sigh. It's always something. So I'll be nursing two pullets all day.

Got me a crap load of laundry to do today while the neice is here. I am teenager sitting. LOL. She's supposedly ill so I am to make sure she doesn't use the phone to text her friends, no computer, just do nothing. LOL. Oh, I remember those days. My dad would make us stay in our room, sleep and read a book or what ever. No playing though. If we were to sick to go to school, we were to sick to play. LOL.

Keyt, I found a cool cold congestion remedy. Three drops of hydrogen peroxide in one ear, leave it for 3-5 minutes, then tilt your head over a bowl so it drains. Then repeat on the other side. :3

Right! Although I had it easy. I was sick a LOT. Only physically went to school (had a home-bound teacher) for 2 months in 6th grade and 4 months in 9th. I had a tv and phone in my room and basically anything I wanted. Of course that was long before phones you could text on or the internet. So when I was sick I didn't care about going outside or doing things I shouldn't but I had plenty to entertain me.

UGH! I think its the constant cursed changes in the weather. The neighbor tells me that if you want to know how healthy your flock is, wait for a severe weather snap. If they all pull through... And if they don't, then you know the weak are winowed out. Heck, I don't want them winowed out. I love my birds!

I lost one today... I am sure you saw that already, so don't need to re-tell it here... BUT, I should post a picture of her and her sister together, and y'all can tell me if my theory is correct...

The small one in center, and her sister is 2 weeks older... So I am thinking failure to thrive/grow? The one on the left that is...
