Omelette: It was good!! There are some new prissy chicks that started. Apparently they were on vacation, and just got back.

Buffy: On Saturday we got two Aunties!
Ming Ming: Yeah! Aunt Maizee's nice, but Auntie Rosie's a bit of a grouch.
Kyle: Yeah. She keeps chasing us away from the water.
Jim: And she pecked Kyle's wing!
Aurora: But she lays huuuuge eggs and tells good stories!
Toff: She told us how she wandered into her old mama's yard and she took her in.

Omelette: Well, every once in a while we do a field trip! And you guys missed it by a hair. It was on Wednesday, and you guys came then!
Hazel: Ah. Why do they call it a field trip?

Buttermilk: Our Mommy goes to one, she goes on Wednesdays.

Omelette: Yes, and we're homeschoolers, and we go to co-op on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.
Hazel: I'm soooo excited for tomorrow!
Pippy: I got pasty butt!!! It's really not bad, but I hope that I don't have to miss the first day of co-op!
