Hazel: I literally almost ran into the lampost cause of all this fog!
Buttermilk: Literally or figuratively?
Hazel: LITERALLY!!!
Bisquick: I like fog! It makes the ground dewy which makes worms come up which makes treats for us!
Pippy: I like your thinking, Bisquick.
Hedwig: Almost done school for tomorrow!!!!
Omelette: Same here, Hettie...
Me: Some news! I think that Pippy laid her first egg, but I'm not sure.... it's much darker than Hazel's eggs--so I'll let you guys know for sure if it was really her.

March 31
Olive tree organic eggs
Tomorrow, we go to school. I must admit I am a tad nervous, but it is nothing to be afraid of. We must walk to school, and on the first day we will be led by some senior hens, and shown around by assigned mentors. The school is mostly made up of Olive tree hens, 1400 Olive tree hens, and 100 other hens from the area.

Pippy: Smockings!! We put up our smockings!
Hazel: No, no. Stockings. not smockings.
Pippy: Oh. whatever.
Hedwig: Mine has an ornament on it. :3 and it's green with red trim!
Pippy: Mine has a snowman on it!!
Omelette: Mine is pink, white, and red striped. :3
Hazel: And mine is a very complicated pattern.
Bisquick: Tomorrow we will get a picture of them and post it here!
Buttermilk: I love pictures.
Snap: Mine is still green with the sparkles on it. It's the same one from last year.

Lady: Ahem, that's stockings.
Terry: Shockings sound cooler.
