Sophia: We have another week until next co-op.
Elanor: Which is actually a two-day session...
Marianne: Because of semester finals
Sophia: 'cause we need more time to finish each test.
Marianne: So we don't have much homework to do over the two weeks between co-ops because we need to review and study.
Elanor: Arrgh, How am I supposed to remember what I learned in Art of Egglaying back in september?!
Marianne: At our co-op, our classes go like this: first, homework from the past few weeks is turned in, then questions are answered on the concept, third, more homework is given out for the next few weeks and the corresponding book chapters and/or online lessons are given out with the assignments, then we get a test on last week's stuff.
Elanor: I love being coopschooled.

Midge: We have midterms this week and next, but we get to leave when we finish them.
Henny: I had my run design final today...piece of cake! I was up half the night studying angles, woods, and everything, but all the teacher wanted us to do was explain what scale was and create a model of our coop...
Akira: I had my literature test today! It didn't go so well...I probably should have read Sense and Silkie-bility after all...

Marianne: Oyster shell, eggshell, layer feed. Elanor, umm..*scans down list* If there is a large white chicken and two smaller black ones, which color will dominate?
Elanor: White. Sophia, if there is a perch that is 20% flexable, and is bent to thew right, which way to you lean.
Sophia: twenty degrees to the right.

Buttermilk: I picked a BAD week to molt...
Omelette: It actually gets pretty warm in here once the light is on for a bit...

Hazel: Roger (we named the heated water bowl) is doing a GREAT job in this coldness...
Pippy: Yesterday I laid two eggs!

Omelette: My teacher told me that I have the highest grade in The Pecking Order II class.

Hazel: And she got a funny clip of me right when I looked at the camera.
Pippy: She also found her old camera! Lots of pictures of us when we were chicks!!
Bisquick: And that also means MORE pictures of us in the spring!
Snap: Ahh the spring... Seems so far away.
