Bit of beak missing- baby guinea fowl

Hi I've got a 2 month old guinea fowl and he's missing the tip of his beak? He has a small slice in the top bit of his beak aswell, I'm very worried for the tip of his beak as I don't understand how he could have done it, he's with 2 others of his ages but they see the world in eachother.. I really need opinions will it come back? And how could be have done it, thanks everyone! I have no money to take him to the vets unless he's really in danger

compared to a normal beak, his bottom beak is now bigger than his top beak :/

I don't think he is in any danger. But, he obviously has had his beak somewhere he should not have had it ! It will grow back, sort of like a finger nail.

I'm soaking it salty water to prevent any thurther infection, and I'm considering giving them their chick crumb so it's less hard by adding water so it won't damage it it any more, thanks can you think of anything else that I'd need to do?
