Bitten by my chicken

My little bachelor seramas bite me when I pick them up sometimes. They also fly up onto me (head, shoulders,arms) to get attention and will mate with my hand/arm while being held-ugh!

I’ve only been bitten (not too hard) by my alpha when I was handling another bird. I don’t have a rooster, and I think she was protecting the flock (even though she’s a huge lap sitter. LOL.)

my chickens will peck softly on my shoe or hand. i think it means 'hello'
