Ok i was sending some leghorn roos to freezer camp and my freind asked if i would save the tail and wing feathers for her. I scalded them then plucked set aside, next day put in some clorox water to "make claener" anyway they are yellow(white leghorns)and no fluff or fullness! should i have pulled feathers first then scald? And yes i mean after its dead! or is there any way to fix these....

Bleach will yellow white feathers. I don't know all the basics buy you might ask in Breeds, Genetics, and Showing. They are cleaning white feathers all the time

You might try laying them in the sun. But I don't know for sure.

Can you try it with Mrs. Wright's blueing? Try a test area first on one of the feathers. I know it works for white clothes that have yellowed maybe it's work for feathers?

Try the Blueing, when I was showing my White Cochins, I used that when I bathed them, dilute it (A LOT ) cause if you leave it on too long it will appear purpleish (ask me how I found this out
