This week has been very busy so I haven’t had a lot of time for posting. My youngest daughter was nominated for Winter Royalty at her school so we’ve been busy dress shopping and preparing for the excitement.

Still no progress on the Serama Shed. Ol’ Sourface is working long days and I’ve just had too much going on. They’re snug in the garage for now so I’m not too worried. The main run had turned into a muddy mess with the melted snow so I purchased some straw over the weekend and spread it around for them. They LOVE it!

None of my pullets have started to lay yet so that’s been a bit disappointing, but it will be worth the wait. I enjoy their company even if they won’t make me breakfast.

That's awesome maybe I need a heated blanket for my chickies.

Think I will wrap my roosts with a couple of heating pads for them, they are doing their first molt at 12 weeks.

What breed of dog in photo?

An overweight, ridiculously spoiled pit bull. I’ll just go ahead use this opportunity to show off my fur babies, Max (black/white) & Goose (brindle). They are both rescues. Max came to us when his owner went to hospice care. Goose was dumped at a shelter with a shatter leg that had to be amputated.

Awww - bet they don't like the cold!

My cat is long haired but even she hates the cold haha! And she sleeps in the most odd positions, here she is half hanging off the Chesterfield hahaha
