Black Ameraucana over Salmon Faverolle?

Eggs from the offspring would probably be light green (blue x light tan). I have no idea about the genetics of a Sal Fav so I can't tell you what the offspring would look like.

Thanks for replying! I ordered a black ameraucana from Cackle and they sent me two.. So I'm trying to figure out who to house him with.

Black Ameraucanas are extended black at the e locus, the faveroles are wheaten so the cross will be E/eWh, the chics will hatch like black Amereucanas
Bummer! I am going to put one of the little guys with my Barred Rock girls for sexlink EE.. Maybe I'll put the other with some BCM hens for OE.

Greta Garbo had a black Splash Ameraucana father and a Salmon Faverolle Mom. She has Faverolle feet and fluff with black feathers and gold tips, yet more of an Ameraucana body shape and temperament. No eggs yet. She is 5 months old and precious!

There was a huge craze a couple of years ago for "Favaucanas," as I recall? Those are just a splash Ameraucana crossed to Faverolles. Aside from color, those should give you a pretty good idea of what the offspring will look like / lay like / act like if you track down reviews from people who have them.
