Where do you live? It looks like frostbite.

It can also be a sign of heart failure, not knowing their climate, cant rule it out.

Totally guessing by the user name but MAYBE Vegas.

Above freezing at night and 50's-60's during the day.

No idea about temps this past week.

I have seen folks include a place in their username then move to a totally different zone too though

I would agree that it appears to be frostbite. It can take a week or more to see the results of frostbite. Do not massage or rub the frostbiiten areas, since they are painful and massage can damage the tissue more. Can you get some pics of the feet? How low have your temps been lately? Are they in a good sized coop at night? Vetericyn, or other hydrogrel sprays are good to use on frostbitten areas without damage, but make sure they are brought inside where it is above freezing to use.
