Well, whatever they are, I think they are quite pretty! I have some kind of bantam (supposedly crossd with RIR) hens that I got from a girl who had them on CL, and at first, I absolutely HATED them! For one thing, she had way too many roos, and these hens were missing a lot of back feathers, plus they always seemed freaked out about everything. Now that they've been here for 5 months, they have grown back their feathers, and aren't so skittish---they are actually quite beautiful little birds, and I really like them, after all. Hope your friend isn't too disappointed with these little hens and comes to enjoy them!

She sold them as Exchequers because that is what Ideal Hatchery said they were.
She got $25 a hen.
I have one and I am going to keep her. I called her Tiddlywink

They are quite calm they would make a good flock for somebody who lives in the city or just wants pet chickens.

They look like hatchery quality anconas to me. Definitely don't have the leghorn look to them.
