Has everyone moved their acct over to Google? I waited until I was forced to. Not a fan of that

You shoulded have gotten switched to Google when you got your Pixel watch.

The app still says Fitbit but your avatar should now show as your Google avatar rather than what was your Fitbit avatar.

Mine switched over a long time ago. I haven't seen that much difference. I've been using a different app these days, though, since I got the ring.
