My pixel has a spot to count floors
"They have several sensors, including red and infrared SpO2, multi-path optical heart rate, skin temperature, and skin conductance (cEDA) body response. Both also pack all of the standard motion and navigation sensors, such as an accelerometer, altimeter, barometer, compass, gyroscope, and magnetometer."

The Charge 4 was the last Fitbit to have an altimeter which makes it possible to count floors.

They are saying that the Pixel watches also have an altimeter which should allow them to count floors.

I'm liking the ring. It's more comfortable than the bracelet and I can wear it with the carpal tunnel brace that I started wearing at night a few days ago.

I've only been wearing it for a couple of hours. It doesn't track wandering around the house well, but it seems to do well when I actually go for a walk.

This is pretty darn neat!

After sleeping on it, it seems to be getting more accurate. I realized that the steps not updating for wandering around the house is because it doesn't update as often as the FitBit. I'm going to wear both all of today and compare them tomorrow morning.

I really like the blood pressure and oxygen saturation monitoring.

The ring doesn't record nearly as many steps as the Fitbit does, but I think the Fitbit tracks a lot more of my miscellaneous arm movements. The ring also shows that I sleep better, and again, I think the Fitbit tracks random movement more.

All in all, I think I like the ring better than the bracelet. It's more comfortable, you don't have to take it off for showers, washing hands, etc., and I suspect that it's more accurate, even though that means I will have to actually exercise more to keep my step count up.

Fitbit really sucks when it comes to getting sleep correct.
