black australorp - cockerel or pullet?

How old are these birds? Just wondering if they are similar to the OP's bird's age?

Chickennewb, can you remember when your chicken started getting a red comb and large wattles? Do you have any old pics to look at? Looking this way at 3 months would indicate a cockerel, but at 4 months, it could be a pullet approaching the point of lay.

they are like 4-5 months old

Mine just started turning red a week ago. three days ago it crowed three hours after sunrise. but since then she or it hasnt crowed. this morning no crow too.
