I can get more for sure. Iāll sort that after school pickup. Didnāt know about above. What should I be looking for with the girls? The lady we got from thinks theyāre all roos at this stage. Iām so unsure on 1 and 2 for definite. She takes back roos but I donāt want to pass back until Iām 100% sure. She has kept a confirmed pullet australorp and Olive egger for me so at least Iāll have some definite hens if all end up roos. Theyād be about 10 weeks roughly now.
look at their neck feathers. if their rounded at the end, it's a girl. if their pointed, it's a boy.

This is a gorgeous australorp hen Iāve got at the moment laying an egg a day so you can see how the red wattles and combs can throw ya off when they definitely come out dark red when theyāve matured. So makes me wonder whether thereās any maturing early perhaps too..
(btw brown one next to her is a hen but you probably know that)
