Thanks for everyone's replies! No question about it now, what with the crowing and all... Amelia (ahem...) is a rooster! She has gone back to the breeder where she (I mean, he) jumped right in showing some of the smaller fellas who is boss. And we've got a new girl (definitely a girl this time) home to join our little flock. Welcome, Adelaide!
