She looks like a pullet to me.

Mine have gotten to the point that they all run over to me and squat as soon as I enter the coop, before I even touch them. LOL, I pet them a lot.
you're kidding? Man I reach out my hand and they make their sound and run off like I have abused them or something. I have fed the RIR out of my hand and they will come if the RIR's come but not on their own or be the first to come. But you let me put my hand out and they tuck tail and run. I have tried and tried to no avail.

I am TRYING to figure out HOW to tell the he's from the she's now that mine are 3 months old but still having some trouble figuring it out. Are the pullets legs smaller than the cockerels? I have some that have much larger legs than the others. Since I have 22 of these boogers I need to get it figured out so I can get rid of some of these cockerels.

Well I THINK I got it figured out with loads of help from this forum.

I have 22 BA's and 11 of those are pullets the rest are cockerels. NOW to figure out WHICH of those cockerels to keep. Someone is helped me with that as well although mine is from hatchery stock it seems. I guess that's what I need to learn on anyway.

That's about as "pullet" as you can get. I had 5 BA's a couple years ago, and they all had large combs and very large wattles. There is nothing on her body that remotely resembles being a rooster. I think BA's are pretty birds.....I got rid of mine because I wanted eggs.....not chicks. My BA's were pretty broody.

Well it looks like I have a few less that 10 pullets. ughhhhh was out banding them today and found like 6 I think it was but ran out of time and going to go at it again tomorrow. They wont be still for me to check their legs bands to see the number on it. lol
