Yeah it is. The Partridge is my 2nd or 3rd favorite variety. Toss up between them and Barred. I started a flock of Silver Penciled this spring and though pretty birds is my 4th choice variety- only decent quality birds I could obtain at the time.
Was trying to get photo of one of the better pullets here not the cushion tail behind her or the cockerel that moved into view. The penciling pattern to both Partridge and Silver can be stunning too. But the cockerels are very handsome too even in the awkward stage of development as this 20 week boy.
