If the saddle feathers are pointy, its a roo. If they're rounded like flower petals, it's a pullet. I can't really tell from the pictures

I am trying to figure out saddle feathers. I am a newb.

Looks like a pullet to me! I'm not sure if it's just mine or if it's normal, but out of my 6 BA's 3 are definite cockerels and their legs are still yellowish and their combs are way larger and red. My 3 pullets have blackish legs. All mine are about 6ish weeks though.

Its a pullet, if its 8 weeks old.
And at 8 weeks, saddle feathers won't help you. That poster was talking about feathers that a chicken gets after puberty, at 12 weeks. But for when that comes, this is what they were talking about.
