Mine are from John

It'll be a little while until I can sell any, as this was the first egg. So I have to wait for them to pick up, and then test fertility.

If you get some from John you wont be sorry

I'm already getting Lavenders from him in April, but I want a few black too. I'm very fortunate to live close to his hatchery and can pick them up. I wish you great success with yours...they are absolutely gorgeous. To me, there's just something about a black chicken, especially an Ameraucana. They're just so regal, I think.

Good for you, you will love the lavender. Do you mean bantams? I have lavender bantams from his as well. I agree about black chickens, just beautiful, especially in the sun.

Yes, I'm getting bantams from John. That little blue egg of yours is just the cutest! That was my deciding factor between the LF and the bantams...egg size. I just think those little blue eggs have GOT to be irrisistably cute, and I think my friends who buy eggs from me will really get a kick out of them.

How do the banty Ameraucana birds compare in size to the large ones?
