Yes, that's what I meant and I thought she meant black (or BC) opposed to blue or splash, etc.

BC and maybe a few with no color.

If they are over melanised sometimes you will get no copper on some of the female. Never used the BC from this mating back into your Pure BC.

what is melansie.? Also again can u explain what I will get if I cross two black copper marans. Will they be all black or are you saying sometime you will get a funny off breed some how or are they lure breeds. I also have avlue copper and would love to knwo what I will get if I cross him with a black copper

I have a blue pullet with yellow feet. I have no plans to breed her but surprised to see it. She has feathered legs. Anyone run into this?
