Mine don't seem to be phased by it either, when I saw the first black spot I thought it was from him fighting with the oldest rooster but then a few days later they were on 2 others and that's when I knew it was pox since I was just reading about it last month. I haven't seen any blisters though, I just noticed pale spots on the combs and then the next day they are black dots, I assumed they'd look like something similar to a cold sore when they rupture or even a small dot that leaks fluid or is that just with wet pox? I had been spraying the coop with permethrin every month for about 3 months now since I noticed the mosquitoes congregate in there during the day and that seemed to get rid of them inside but I haven't been able to deter them outside. They do seem to be more vocal when I go out there recently and I can't tell if it's just cause they're nearing laying age or if it's their way of complaining about not feeling well lol.I echo all of this. My flock had an outbreak a couple of years ago. They never acted sick. This looks like dry pox, so it really ended up not being a big deal at all. I used iodine on some spots to try them up, but I did it mainly to make me feel better because the chickens were not fazed at all.
