Black Buzzard

Does anyone know if a black buzzard will actually attack chickens? I like to let my chickens out in the afternoons while keeping an eye on them. If a group of black buzzards see them they will start circling really low. They usually leave when they see me. Anyone have any experience with those?

Yes, they killed and ate two POL pullets in TN when i lived there. They will also peck the eyes out of calves and kill and eat them. Bad actors. Farmers hate them.
