Black comb and wattle? What is this?

Do you know what other breeds that breeder sells or has? It's possible that an egg got mixed up and you ended up with a different breed or a cross.

The only other type of bird they had in the pen was a lavender Orpington. They raised BCM and lavender orpingtons!

The pictures do look quite a bit like an Ayam, but it's unlikely.

Right!!?? That’s what I thought too. I was like uhhhh this sure looks like a cemani, but there is just now way. Those are so rare

I am baffled how this chicken could have come from a BCM, a lav orp, or a cross! No idea what's going on, sorry I can't be more of a help.

The white dots are from the chicken coop paint she walked into when I was doing touch ups

I had to see what state you were from, lol, I was like cr#@ did I do that! It wasn't me, lol, but I'm a backyard breeder and I was incubating my Ayam Cemani and Black Copper Marans (along with others) at the same time. Anything is possible.
