Black comb on rooster ??????

My banty rooster has black wattles and comb... and its not on the tips. There is a very large width of it in the middle of his comb and the wattels are mostly black. They have been inside there coop since it has been cold. Just wanting to hear what is it and what can be done

i'm thinking fowl pox but that is a little out of season i think. (not an expert)

it could be signs of frostbite but that might depend on how cold your area has been lately and how long ago you may have found it.

Has it always been black... if not he could have a frozen comb.
