I'm thinking they're black australorps or black australorp mixes. Here is my Black Australorp at around 4 weeks, which had some white tips.
I have heard of BCM with clean legs here in Canada. I think you just need to wait a few months.Yeah. I totally understand getting the wrong gender or even the wrong breed if you arent careful but dont insist these chicks are something that they definitely are not. No way they're Dominiques . That's how I realized they weren't barred rocks, no barring. And I guess no way they're BCM since no frathered legs.
I think they're olive eggers. One of them who is from the same parents has the muffs and beard that she would have gotten from the americauna. We will see soon. They're 12 weeks old now.I have heard of BCM with clean legs here in Canada. I think you just need to wait a few months.

I realize this thread is a couple months old, but for the record, all of my BA from Cackle hatchery had white tips on their flight feathers in their early molts. Their adult feathers came in pure black, though.Heres when I got.them. not the greatest picture. Showing the white
They arent laying yet so I'm still not 100% sure what they are. Right now they're 13 weeks old. 3 look the same as this picture but 2 looks like a black EE.I realize this thread is a couple months old, but for the record, all of my BA from Cackle hatchery had white tips on their flight feathers in their early molts.
